FIELD: drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: shot drilling bit includes metal body possessing cylindrical surface passing to conical surface, hole located in symmetry with central axis, slug on butt and shot. Spiral race for shot in the form of chute is cut in conical surface of body. Body has two ducts connected to hole in body, one duct is used for entry of shot from spiral race to hole in body and the other duct is meant for exit of shot from it. Cylindrical part of body has grooves housing magnets holding shot in working zone of drilling bit, shot comes in the form of balls made of hard alloy. EFFECT: enhanced drilling efficiency thanks to reduced abrasive wear of body by shot and enlarged area of working surface of drilling bit. 1 dwg
