FIELD: pipeline valves for shutting off pipeline flow section. SUBSTANCE: insert valve is mounted in insert coupler of liquid-carrying pipeline and has locating member. The latter is free to turn relative to valve body with aid of adjusting ring and transfer member but it cannot turn relative to transfer member. Locating member functions to guide valve stem along axis. Valve stem carries shut-off part of valve and is mounted for limited displacement relative to valve seat. Adjusting member turn relative to valve seat and transfer member causes axial displacement of locating member in one direction up to stop and in other direction, up to moment when shut-off member of valve is stopped by valve seat. EFFECT: enhanced tightness of insert valve in closed position. 6 cl, 8 dwg
