FIELD: medicine, nephrourology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating uremia. For this purpose one should introduce gel form of finely divided chitosan either per oral or through a probe per 4 ml/kg body weight in every 3 h. The method leads to efficient detoxication at uremia of different genesis, in incurable patients in case of prolongation of predialysis terms when active methods of therapy are contraindicated, as well.
