FIELD: gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in operative and conservative treatment of peritonitis. Sorbent is fractionally introduced into digestive canal through probe. Sorbent is shivyr tuin which is employed in the form of 10% suspension in Ringer-Lock solution in amount 500-700 ml for 50-60 min. Through irrigation probe canal, air is forced fractionally in amount 40-50 ml 6 to 12 times in one min. Procedure is performed 3-4 times daily for 2 to 6 days.
