FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: nozzle unit has main slit-type nozzles, whose axes of symmetry are extending in parallel with casing base, and additional slit-type nozzles, whose axes of symmetry are defining with central axis of casing an acute angle. Edges of nozzles are made of flexible material and are toothed. Upon driving of unit, liquid supplied into nozzle unit casing is passing through slit-type nozzles to be converted into fan-like film, which is split into drops for irrigating soil with plants. Slit nozzles are oriented so that fan-like films come into collision to disturb their stability and intensify splitting thereof into drops. Teeth on nozzle edges enhance turbulization of liquid flow and vibration of flexible edges intensifies the process of splitting liquid films into drops. EFFECT: improved quality of liquid spraying due to reduced size of drops and, accordingly, improved agroecological characteristics of artificial rain and increased farm crop yield. 2 dwg
