FIELD: hydraulic works.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic structures and methods of passing spawners through support structures to spawning and fattening places. Methods of fish passing through fishway from lower pool of hydraulic works to upper pool comes to creating controlled water flow over entire length of fish pass. Said controlled flow which depends on difference in levels of upper and lower pools and type of fish to be passed is created in each chamber of fish pass by delivering additional water into system of stream forming heads located higher and lower than longitudinal axis of fish entry hole located in cross partition and directed at angle relative to each other and to side of upper pool with subsequent formation of two rows of hydraulic stream and thus building hydraulic resistance to flow getting along fish pass and fishway chambers from upper pool owing to combined action of said hydraulic streams, and thus creating favorable conditions for fish passing through entry hole to upper pool. Hydraulic streams are formed directly volume from fishway chamber located below and delivering said water into fishway chamber located above.
EFFECT: provision of hydraulic conditions in fishway contributing to effective passing of fish along fishway by regulating resistance to flow passing through fish entry hole of fishway.
