SUBSTANCE: method involves providing first irrigation of farm crops upon harvesting of basic crop, grinding and distributing plant remains over the field, with irrigation norm being sufficient for wetting of plant remains on field surface; providing second irrigation at soil temperature reduced to 5 C, with irrigation norm being sufficient for wetting of 10-cm thick soil layer to complete water capacity. EFFECT: increased efficiency in suppressing weedage and simplified method.
