SUBSTANCE: DNA sequences encoding protein that shows enzymatic activity of amylosucrase and linked with regulatory sequences are introduced into cells of procaryotes or eucaryotes. Then whole plants are regenerated from plant cells where synthesis of linear α-1,4-glucanes occurs more intensively as compared with that in non-transformed plants. Then expressed α-1,4-glucanes and/or fructose are isolated from the host organism. Invention can be used for preparing plants, fungi and microorganisms enriched with linear α-1,4-glucanes.
