FIELD: metallurgy; heat treatment of austenitic precipitation-hardening steel. SUBSTANCE: method includes annealing for solid solution at temperature of 980 C for an hour followed by cooling in air and aging at temperature of 730 C for no longer than 5 hours. Proposed method enhances resistance of steel to hydrogen sulfide cracking of parts working in acid media under load of 750 MPa in north zones. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 2 tbl
