FIELD: metallurgy, namely heat treatment of surfaced metal.
SUBSTANCE: method providing formation of corrosion-resistant surfaced layer in liquid and gaseous hydrogen sulfide containing media at keeping mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of base comprises steps of hardening; high-temperature tempering of base of steel with high corrosion resistance; surfacing onto base metal layer of age-hardening martensite steel; aging in range of maximum strengthening of surfaced metal for time period no more than 1 hour due to age hardening.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance and corrosion resistance of surfaced layer on alloy steels.
