FIELD: determination of coordinates of mobile ground objects, aircraft, motor launches, yachts. SUBSTANCE: procedure includes measurement of test values of horizontal projections of summary intensity vector of magnetic field of the Earth and magnetic field of object under calibration cycle, measurement of averaged values of projections of gravitational acceleration and projections of summary intensity vector of magnetic field of the Earth and magnetic field of object during working cycle. Values of horizontal projections of intensity vector of magnetic field of the Earth are found with due account of correction coefficients. Angle of direction of movement is determined. Increments of coordinates for the time of working cycle are established. Relative coordinates are found by summation of increments of coordinates. Coordinates of object are determined by summation of relative coordinates and position of initial point. Coordinates of object are measured with the use of receiver of satellite navigation system and they are employed to correct relative coordinates and position of initial point. Correction coefficients are found and corrections of angle of direction of movement and increments of course made good are executed.
