FIELD: shipbuilding; designing submarine vessels. SUBSTANCE: proposed submarine vessel has two hermetic hulls. Arranged in main hull are power plant (nuclear reactors inclusive) and other units, armament, storages. Additional hull is used for working and recreation rooms, life support systems, control consoles and central control station. Additional hull is located above main hull and possesses positive reserve of buoyancy at all times. Both hulls are interconnected by means of remotely- controlled locking units; they are also connected by means of hermetic air-lock chambers provided with hermetic hatches. Arranged between hulls are remotely-controlled pushing units owing to which there is no need to pass to floating compartment in an emergency. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 5 dwg
