SUBSTANCE: proposed composition is based on metal phosphide and additive containing carbon tetrachloride or ethyl bromide or ethyl chloride or methallyl chloride in the amount of no less than 0.5 part by weight per part by weight of metal phosphide. Phosphine is produced by interaction with hydrolyzing agent of metal phosphide contained in composition; water or diluted acid in the amount of no less than 1.2 parts by weight of water or diluted acid per part by weight of metal phosphide is introduced as hydrolyzing agent into composition containing carbon tetrachloride or ethyl bromide or ethyl chloride of methallyl chloride as additive in the amount no less than 0.5 part by weight per part by weight of metal phosphide.
