FIELD: cleaning water from suspended particles. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes introduction of coagulant at concentration of 0.5-2.0% into turbulent flow of water being cleaned, mixing and separation of contaminants; coagulant solution is subjected preliminarily to impact activation against obstacle in turbulent jet at velocity gradient no less than 7500 s-1 followed by introducing and mixing activated coagulant into turbulent flow and impact action against obstacle at velocity gradient of 600-1500 s-1; then, flocculant is fed to zone of smoothly distributed coagulant over entire section and mixed with turbulent flow of water being cleaned subjecting the flow to impact action against obstacle at velocity gradient of 300-400 s-1; solution of polymethyl diallyl ammonium chloride at concentration of 15-20% is used as flocculant.
