Each rim is made in the form of hollow straight polygonal prism or hollow truncated pyramid. Such shank is used in apparatuses for forming seed beds with restricted seed embedding depth from day surface and is designed for sowing of small-seeded crops. Construction of shank allows young crop to be kept during "sowing-germination" period, when small-seeded crops are cultivated in soil zones with distinct continental climate.
