FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves mechanically finishing root canal as intraroot portion of pin tooth having fit projection with cylindrical lateral surface formed around entrance to root canal. The root canal is filled with fixing material. Intraroot part of the pin tooth is introduced into the root canal. Artificial crown is modeled on supragingival part of pin tooth and put on over supraroot part of the pin tooth on the fit projection with intraroot part being concurrently introduced into the root canal. Fit projection is to be oval in tooth cross-section. Pin tooth is manufactured by setting rod protruding above the root and gingiva. Next to it, flexible ring is tightly mounted on the fit projection protruding above the root and gingival. The space between the flexible ring and the rod is filled with plastic mass. The rod is removed from the root canal together with the flexible ring and plastic mass and is used as pin tooth model. The unit cast pin tooth is manufactured using the molding model.
