Each side longitudinal edge has side edge contour convexed outside and arranged within the region of thigh accommodation openings in intermediate part of side edge. Moisture-permeable upper sheet layer is connected and arranged in face-to-face relation on lower sheet layer and absorbing structure is arranged between upper sheet layer and lower sheet layer. Separate composite flap-type insert member forms insert section for accommodation of thighs and retention of flat-type section and comprises barrier layer. Nonwoven fabric layer is connected in face-to-face relation to first face surface of barrier layer and comprises insert portion adapted for accommodation of thighs, side part facing outside, retention flap-type region, and inward facing side part. Side part of flap-type insert fabric layer facing outside is arranged so that it may be turned around at least one side edge of barrier layer and inserted inward of that site along second surface of barrier layer.
