SUBSTANCE: description of absorbent elements comprising a reduced absorbent section. The reduced absorbent section may contain less absorbent material than the adjacent section of the absorbent body. The reduced absorbent section may comprise a rear flared section containing a first protruding element and a second protruding element. The reduced absorbent section may comprise a front flared section with a third protruding element and a fourth protruding element. The reduced absorbent section may also include an intermediate section located between the rear flared section and the front flared section.
EFFECT: reduced costs and materials of the inner absorbing section.
