GAS FILTER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning gases from mechanical impurities; protection of equipment, fittings, units and instruments due to reduction of erosion of sealing surfaces. SUBSTANCE: gas filter has housing with cover secured on housing by means of alligator double-pin wrench; said cover closes circular slot where cassette is mounted in mounting clearances. Said cassette has body with fixed outlet screen and detachable inlet screen which is framed by ferrule. Secured immovably on cassette body are bow-shaped handles for placing pin of standard wrench under bow. Handles are secured on body in such way that distance between handle and ferrule of inlet screen on one side and between handle and edge of cassette body on other side is no less than thickness of pin of standard wrench. Mounted inside body between inlet and outlet screens is ferrule which is open over its generatrix with rolled- in ends and bent aside lugs. Surface of ferrule is perforated. First and additional relief corrugated screens mounted inside ferrule have pitch multiple relative to each other. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning; low cost; ease in maintenance; reduced terms between maintenance periods. 3 cl, 8 dwg
