SUBSTANCE: method of soil digging by bucket of scraper with discretely changeable width of cutting includes subsequent driving the bucket into and out of soil, digging at constant depth of cutting and discrete decrease of cutting width owing to sequential driving out cutting parts of blade system at different width of cutting. Digging at constant cutting depth is combined with change of cutting width carried out at gradually driving out of cutting parts of blade system and is completed by operating the cutting part of blade system having minimum width of cutting.
