FIELD: secondary oil recovery methods with control over separation boundary between oil and fluid medium driving oil. SUBSTANCE: hydrocarbon collector from which secondary oil recovery is carried out is subjected to first and then at least second examination of gradient of gravity acceleration. Gradient of gravity acceleration is measured by means of gradiometer on surface above collector to generate consecutive series of data. Information on changes of underground density caused by displacement of hydrocarbon and its replacement by driving fluid medium is obtained by difference between data of first and following examinations of gradient of gravity acceleration. This approach takes into consideration position, morphology and rate of change of separation boundary between extracted hydrocarbon and driving fluid medium. EFFECT: restoration of formation pressure with determination of boundary of separation of media and with potential for control over this boundary. 22 cl, 15 dwg
