FIELD: drying products of vegetable and animal nature. SUBSTANCE: unit has vacuum drying chamber, microwave oscillator, two conical antennas, steam condensing system, vacuum pump, power splitter, phase shifter, at least one dielectric chute for disposing part to be dried, and at least one chute-carrying dielectric shelf arranged horizontally inside drying chamber. Antennas are coaxially and tightly secures on ends of drying chamber. Microwave oscillator output is connected to input of factor-of-two power splitter; one output of the latter is connected to input of one antenna and other one, to input of phase shifter whose output is connected to input of second antenna. Unit provides for uniform drying of products in sublimation and uniform heating of product interior to attain their desired residual moisture content. EFFECT: improved quality of dried product, reduced drying time and power requirement, simplified design of unit. 9 cl, 6 dwg
