FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: casting of wire, strips and pipes is effected through nozzle partially located in primary cooler. Primary cooler is located in melting-casting furnace and directed at an angle of 20-80 deg to furnace vertical axis. Hardened article drawn from nozzle is additionally cooled by water sprays. Article between primary and secondary cooling is kept in protective gas. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced device overall dimensions, higher efficiency of article cooling. 6 cl, 1 dwg
