FIELD: amelioration. SUBSTANCE: vacuum drainage system has horizontal drains and collectors arranged in two tiers so that drains are joined from two sides into collector. Lower tier drains of positive gradient are directly connected to upper tier drains of reverse gradient. Vacuum wells of lower tier collector are equipped with siphons. Upper tier collector is free from perforations to eliminate air blowouts into drainage main. Vacuum pump and gas collecting vessel are mounted at its opposite end. Drainage system is separated from plow layer by screen. Drainage system may be used on marches to be drained by means of closed drainage means for regulating their air mode and simultaneously for producing biogas. EFFECT: increased efficiency in controlling air- and-water mode in root layer of marches and producing march biogas, and reduced contamination of atmosphere with "hotbed gas". 3 dwg
