FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in windmill electric generating units and as drives of water lifting submerged pumps. Proposed windpower plant has concentrator, flow accelerator, rotor with blades. Concentrator is made in form of hollow cylinder with vertical through slots. Concentrator interacts with flow accelerator installed inside and made in form of guide members in form of smoothly curved plates connected into ring. Ends of plates are smoothly bent off to form slots coinciding with slots of concentrator. Moreover, ring is made for displacement around vertical axis, and at least one rotor with blades is made inside ring. EFFECT: simplified design of plant, increased efficiency, improved reliability. 3 dwg
