FIELD: cartography of radiation sources. SUBSTANCE: method and facility deal with determination of positions of such sources in three-dimensional environment which can be both known and unknown. Method includes first and second surveys of visible image of environment and sources at different angles and formation of three-dimensional visible model of environment. Model is formed by means search for and identification of similar elements of visible images and by computation of positions of similar elements of visible images. Method also includes determination of lines of projection of sources and computation of positions of crossing points of lines of projection in model of environment which are positions of sources. Facility for cartography of radiation sources has means to survey radiation images, couple of aids to survey visible images of environment of radiation sources and aids for photogrammetry. Aids for survey of visible images and radiation are positioned on single common not deformable but adjustable support with aid for survey of radiation images. They are so oriented that they have common visible field, in aggregation, completely or partially. EFFECT: potential for complete and accurate determination of positions of sources of radioactive and other radiation in three-dimensional environment. 12 cl, 10 dwg
