FIELD: medicine, veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with preventing and treating gastrointestinal diseases in animals and other organisms. It is suggested to apply glauconitic concentrate as active substance for the purpose to prevent and treat gastrointestinal diseases. It could be applied either individually or in composition of: a) medicinal preparations - for treating diseases of gastrointestinal tract and b) fodders - for preventing gastrointestinal diseases in animals. Glauconitic concentrate provides capacity to absorb and withdraw harmful toxic substances out of the body that leads to higher total resistance of any organism and normalization of its gastrointestinal function. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
