FIELD: detergents. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surfactant compositions containing specified combination of alcohol-ethoxysilicates, especially useful in detergents. Composition of invention contains alcohol- ethoxysilicates of general formulas HO-(EO)_n1-R¹ and HO-(EO)_n2-R², in which EO is ethylene oxide residue, n1=3-8 and n2=4.5-9; R¹ denotes alkyl selected from C8-C12-alkyls and having 9-12 carbon atoms in average, and R² denotes alkyl selected from C12- C16-alkyls and having 12-15 carbon atoms in average, their weight being such as to ensure average number of carbon atoms in the two alkyls varies from 10.5 to 12 and average number of EA units varies from 4.5 to 8.
