PROCESS OF CONSOLIDATION OF WATER-SATURATED GROUND IN FOUNDATIONS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2204650 C1

FIELD: civil engineering, formation of foundations of buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: process of consolidation of mass of water-saturated ground in foundations of buildings and structures includes establishment of row of members beyond outline reinforcing ground over perimeter of consolidated mass, formation of skeleton-cellular structure of members reinforcing ground in zone of consolidated mass and formation of distribution-bearing member on its surface. Ground-reinforcing members are formed in this case by pumping of hardening material under pressure into holes created in ground. Salient feature of process lies in that consolidation of mass of muddy water- saturated ground is carried out by formation of ground-reinforcing members in row beyond outline with establishment of antifiltration barrier with outline open in zone of water drainage by way of directed feed of hardening solution into holes of row beyond outline along longitudinal axis of barrier with simultaneous directional natural or forced water drainage. Holes are filled with hardening material in zone of consolidated mass by sections within which there are formed rows of holes which are arranged in parallel to open section of outline of barrier and perpendicular to it starting from row most distant from open section of outline of barrier also with simultaneous directional natural or forced water drainage. Holes are drilled through depth of formed members reinforcing ground which corresponds to thickness of consolidated mass of water- saturated ground. EFFECT: raised bearing capacity of water-saturated ground in foundations of industrial works by imparting skeleton-cellular structure made of reinforced members in improved mass of ground form of completed structural net. 5 cl, 4 dwg
