FIELD: drilling equipment, particularly, mobile drilling units designed for drilling, completion, repair and recovery of prospecting, hydrogeological, water and development oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: unit includes self-propelled transportation base, for instance, truck. Mounted on truck are must with pulley-block system, drawworks, mechanical drive of main mechanism, hydraulic drive of auxiliary mechanisms and hydraulic outtriggers. Drive of main mechanisms has reversive DC motor installed on platform in front of drawworks. DC motor is kinematically connected with distributing reduction gear of drive, drawworks and rotor. Invention provides for increase of reliability and efficiency of operation due to inclusion into unit of reversive DC motor that makes it possible under corresponding conditions to change from truck engine drive to operation with drive from electric motor with advantages intrinsic in said type of drive.
