FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive includes engine, mechanism converting translational motion into rotary motion and control system; engine and said mechanism are located in axis of turn movable members; to this end, engines are made in form of hermetic anisotropic elastic sectional envelopes performing mechanical work at directional change of volume and linear sizes of envelope whose ends transformed into connecting members and are connected with input members of mechanism converting translational motion into rotary motion which are engageable with body of transport facility and output members are linked with axle of turn of movable members; if number of such mechanisms is more than two, they are mounted in opposing position.
