FIELD: facing old or new cooking stoves. SUBSTANCE: method involves disposing tile or tile panels in parallel to stove plane and filling space between tile and stove surface with mix prepared in advance. Fastening members made of two or more ceramic plates smaller in size by order of magnitude than tile are mounted on stove surface, then tile or tile panels are secured on these fastening members. Elastic heat-resistant adhesive is used for mounting fastening members on stove surface, fixing tile or tile panels to fastening members, and jointing plates to fastening members. Space between tile and stove is filled with loose mix. EFFECT: no deformation of faced surface when stove is hot. 3 cl, 2 dwg
