FIELD: construction and repair of domestic furnaces. SUBSTANCE: in facing the furnaces, ceramic tiles are laid out on horizontal plane in accordance with required contour with rear side upward. Tiles of lesser sized are bonded on butts of adjacent tiles by means of heat-resistant adhesive. Mounting locks are secured at edges of panel thus obtained for locating adjacent panels. Then panels are positioned in parallel relative to furnace brickwork and space between brickwork and panels is filled with clay mortar. Mounting locks are made from shaped plates and metal strips. metal strips are passed through shaped plates and their ends are bent.
