FIELD: determination of concentration of oxygen in gaseous atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: magnetic gas analyzer has measurement chamber made of non-magnetic material with conduits to feed and discharge gas flows, pole pieces of permanent magnet and false pieces of non-magnetic material with holes in one pole piece and one false piece which communicate with measurement chamber and are connected by conduits of comparison gas with outlet pipe union of source of this gas. Each pipe union houses temperature-sensitive resistor, out-of-balance electric bridge incorporating these temperature-sensitive resistors and meter of signal of out- of-balance electric bridge. Characteristic feature of this analyzer consists in that analyzer is supplemented with conduit of auxiliary gas with pipe union located in its middle, source of auxiliary gas and throttle. Source of auxiliary gas includes two chambers separated by membrane demonstrating selective permeability for hydrogen. First chamber is fitted with inlet and outlet pipe unions, second chamber houses hydrogen hydride source and electric heater. Conduit of auxiliary gas is located between conduits of comparison gas so that points of connection of these conduits are arranged between outlet pipe union of source of comparison gas and temperature- sensitive resistors, pipe union of conduit of auxiliary gas is linked to outlet pipe union of first chamber of source of auxiliary gas and inlet pipe union of this chamber is connected through throttle to source of comparison gas.
