FIELD: measurement technology; gas chromatographic analysis.
SUBSTANCE: gas and vapor acoustic detector has waveguide with input and output pipes and acoustic oscillation source mounted at one end of waveguide and connected to electric harmonic oscillations generator. Electric circuit which connects acoustic oscillator source and generator has permanent resistor brought into the circuit additionally. Ends of resistor are connected with input of electronic amplifier which is connected in series with input of rectifier. Rectifier is provided with electric filter which is connected is series to input of electronic potentiometer together with voltage signal compensation unit. The proposed detector has twice shorter length.
EFFECT: simplified design.
