FIELD: emergency control of power system upon occurrence of asynchronous mode. SUBSTANCE: method for detecting and eliminating asynchronous mode in power system in case of incomplete data on parameters of its equivalent circuit and structure in the course of operation involves exclusive use of data on parameters of transfer area controlled by this automatic-control device, generation of voltage path in nodes confining area under control by measured currents and voltages in power system node and data on resistances of power transmission sections controlled by automatic-control device; centers and radii of circle arcs of mentioned paths are determined in complex plane of voltage coordinate system in measurement node; current value of electrical transmission angle between emf vectors of equivalent generators are determined from complex values of centers and radii obtained, current value of power transmission angle is compared with setting value, and asynchronous mode is recognized in power system by results of this comparison; parameter in the form of ratio of circumference radius vector module to center vector module is found, mentioned parameters of voltage paths across boundaries of controlled transmission area and in measurement node are compared, then fact of electric hunting center occurrence in transmission section under check for which one of parameters is greater and other, lower than unity is recorded and when one of voltage path parameters of node equals unity, occurrence of electric hunting center in this node is recorded. When critical angle of electrical transmission is used as setting for detecting asynchronous mode, slip derivative sign is proposed to be used as determining parameter. When system operates in multistage mode, number of asynchronous running cycles is proposed to be calculated using total variation of transmission angle. EFFECT: provision for detecting and eliminating asynchronous mode using incomplete data on equivalent circuit and structure parameters in servicing power system. 3 cl, 3 dwg
