FIELD: dust separators; applicable in cleaning gases from dust in food, mining, textile, chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: vortex dust separator has cylindrical body forming separation zone; inlet and axial exhaust pipes installed in body upper part. Body lower part accommodates axial cylinder for intake of gas to be cleaned with tangential intake pipe and deflecting washer, dust collecting chamber located under body, and unit of gas recirculation from dust collecting chamber to separation zone axial cylinder is additionally provided with deflecting member installed in its through, and conical dust discharge valve, secured to its bottom. Additional deflecting member is made in form of oval ring with edges bent outside downward. Unit of gas recirculation from dust collecting chamber to separation zone is made in form of hole and movable control plate located on internal wall of tangential intake pipe.
