FIELD: mechanical engineering; dry cleaning of gases in opposite swirled flows. SUBSTANCE: dust collector has cylindrical housing with axial cleaned gas outlet and inlet of secondary flow of gas to be cleaned arranged in upper part. Inlet of primary gas flow to be cleaned with swirler and baffler plate, cylindrical-and-conical large-diameter dust trap, gas recirculation outlet and dust discharge branch pipe are arranged in lower part of housing. Design peculiarity is that inlet branch pipes of primary and secondary flow of gases to be cleaned and gas recirculation outlet branch pipe are rectangular in cross section and are connected tangentially to cylindrical surfaces of dust collector members. Baffle plate is made in form of hollow truncated cone. Cylindrical box is installed under baffle plate. Cylindrical box space communicates with gas recirculation outlet space. Inlet of primary flow of gas to be cleaned is made in form of two straight and one middle curvilinear sections. Inspection hatch is made in end face part of initial straight section. Swirler is made as screw type member, for instance, in form of tape helix. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of dust collector and its effectiveness. 8 cl, 5 dwg
