FIELD: machine engineering and metallurgical industry branches, namely manufacture and operation of cogging mills. SUBSTANCE: bearing unit of roller of roller table includes housing in turning of which roller journal is mounted. Bearing unit is provided with flanged sleeve. Sleeve is mounted in such a way that it embraces journal with guaranteed radial gap and bearing assembly is fit onto its outer diameter. Flange of sleeve has ports along outer diameter and it is arranged outside housing. Disc with boss is put on stem of journal; said disc engages with flanged sleeve along sphere surface. Flanged sleeve through elastic members - springs arranged at both sides of flange, ring and bolts is also connected with disc having boss. In order to increase area of sphere contact there are two ring-halves having inner spherical surface and mounted on end of disc boss. When ingots are transmitted on roller table, rollers are subjected to different stable and shock loads causing deflection of roller from its initial rotation axis. Springs prevent deflection of roller in any direction in order to smooth loads and to protect bearing assembly and housing against shocks. All dynamic loads are smoothed not achieving bearing assembly and housing. EFFECT: possibility for increasing operational reliability of rollers of roller table, elimination of idle periods caused by emergency. 4 dwg
