FIELD: rolled stock production and other industry branches where transportation of hot materials is used, for example roller unit of roller table for transporting hot rolled pieces. SUBSTANCE: roller unit includes roller with trunnions mounted in bearing assemblies. Each bearing assembly has one-piece casing for mounting bearing closed at outer end by flanged cover. Bearings are mounted in casings on sleeves secured to trunnions of roller. Casings have lengthwise openings and joined with them radial openings for lubricant; radial openings are arranged at side of turned to roller inner end of bearing assembly. Bearing assemblies are fixed by means of rings embedded to grooves of sleeves. Casings are fixed onto trunnions by means of through-type fastening joints. EFFECT: increased service life, enhanced repairability of roller unit, reduced emergency idle-time periods of rolling stand, high quality of transported rolled pieces. 1 dwg
