FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: proposed air intake has housing with controllable panels, panel control hydraulic cylinders, ports for additional admission of air and strainer-type protective screen which consists of two protective strainers fitted in succession along air intake passage. Protective strainer which is closer to air intake inlet is so mounted that it closes upper (relative to Earth surface) part of air intake passage. Second protective strainer is so mounted that it closes lower (relative to Earth surface) part of air intake passage. Total area of meshes found in strainer which is closer to air intake inlet is lesser than total area of meshes of second strainer.
