FIELD: nuclear magnetic measurements for remote detection of trinitrotoluene-mines in plastic cases. SUBSTANCE: the device has a semi-toroidal solenoid connected to a high- power impulse power source with a frequency of quadrupole resonance of the trinitrotoluene-mine providing for irradiation of the trinitrotoluene-mine by magnetic field impulses and polarization of protons in it. The saturating coil is connected to the high-power pulse oscillator of the radio-frequency magnetic field providing for a temperature rise of the trinitrotoluene-mine. The receiving coil is connected to a pulse spectrometer of nuclear magnetic resonance providing for detection of the trinitrotoluene-mine selectively in frequency of the quadrupole resonance. The axes of the semi-toroidal solenoid and receiving coil are mutually perpendicular, and the receiving and saturating coils are coaxial.
