FIELD: nuclear magnetic measurements and is ensured by NQR of 14N equipment providing for detection of small amount of explosives and narcotics in ground, walls and luggage. SUBSTANCE: equipment has a radio engineering head representing a system of radiation of substance by pulse signals at a basic frequency equal to resonance frequency of 14N in explosive or narcotic. This system contains a series resonant circuit with a surface coil located near the plastic bottom of a cylindrical screen. The signal from the substance is received by ferrite-rod aerials also positioned inside the mentioned screen. The system equipment may be positioned in a vehicle. 10 g of explosive or narcotic can be detected with the aid of the system at a depth of 45 cm.
