FIELD: electrical, radio, and electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: winding machine that may be used for winding toroidal cores of reactors and transformers with magnet wires has mechanism for holding and turning toroidal core, spool 3 with annular slot 5 for wire, wire remover 6 with annular groove 7 incorporating wedge for lifting tripped wire turn, roller of which one is provided with conical groove 13, brake mechanism, and flexible lateral hold-down device. Novelty is that winding machine is provided in addition with continuous flexible band that holds edge of spool 3 for preventing wire falling off the latter in opposite direction and threshold device for adjusting wire tension that has single-arm lever 21 with spring 22 whose direction of force and that of lever arm 21 form acute angle α with its vortex at point of fixation of spring 22 to lever 21. EFFECT: enhanced mechanical endurance and wire tension stability, reduced power requirement. 1 cl, 3 dwg
