FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: series- connected controlled attenuator, directional coupler, delay line, and one more controlled attenuator are inserted at input of receiving channel; series-connected amplitude detector and voltage amplifier are inserted between additional output of directional coupler and control input of controlled attenuator; threshold device that functions to insert maximal attenuation in microwave channel starting from moment assigned to transient process time in controlled attenuator is inserted between voltage amplifier output and control input of other controlled attenuator; delay line time is chosen to be equal to transient time of controlled attenuator. Proposed device ensures attenuation of microwave signal generated under impact of high-power super-broadband electromagnetic waves. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 1 cl, 5 dwg
