FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device that can be used for protecting receiving channels of radio systems against heavy-power electromagnetic impacts both as self-contained facility and as part of ladder-type multistage protective gear depends for its operation on decay of microwave signal generated during super-broadband heavy-power electromagnetic impacts across mentioned receiving channel. It has series-connected input inductance coil and output inductance coil, neutral bus, and p-i-p diode inserted between common point of connection of input and output inductance coils and neutral bus in forward (or reverse) direction; microwave input formed by vacant lead of input inductance coil and neutral bus; microwave output formed by vacant lead of output inductance coil and neutral bus. Connected in parallel with series-interconnected input inductance coil and output inductance coil are other series-interconnected input inductance coil and output inductance coil, other p-i-n diode being connected in forward (or reverse) direction between their common point of connection and neutral bus; type of other p-i-p diode is chosen to comply with that of first one and parameters of input and output inductance coils, to be equal.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities.
