LIQUID SPRAYER AND NOZZLE INSERT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: paint sprayers. SUBSTANCE: spraying of agent from first container is effected by means of propellant gas kept under pressure in second container. Sprayer is provided with container filled with liquid agent to be sprayed and container filled with propellant and fitted with valve and connecting strip for connecting said containers. Said strip is provided with fasteners for securing it to containers, inner passage for propellant and hole for passage of liquid product. Located in hole of strip is nozzle insert having rear, intermediate and front parts. Intermediate part of insert is provided with Venturi tube with outlet hole for propellant. Two product passages are located along longitudinal axis of insert. Front part of nozzle insert includes expansion chamber whose inlet diameter exceeds considerably diameter of outlet hole of Venturi tube. Inner space around intermediate part of strip is communicated with product hole and with transversal product passages. Outlet of Venturi tube is surrounded by surface smoothly changing to cone. Rear surfaces of transversal product passages and taper surface have no projecting sections. Outlet of Venturi tube is located at distance from inlet of expansion chamber. Specification contains also second version of sprayer. EFFECT: increased content of product in propellant. 16 cl, 10 dwg
