FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: flexible drag is made in the form of chain with each link having closed elongated contour, to which ripping teeth of different or equal length are welded at different or equal angles with respect to link longitudinal axis. Link is composed of two L-shaped blanks welded to one another. Three pairs of ripping teeth are welded to L-shaped blanks. Outer teeth pairs are welded to L-shaped blank junction zone. Length and width of L-shaped blank are determined from certain dependence. Method involves welding straight or curved teeth to link; removing metal spurt and applying protective coat; fusing wear-resistant metal layer onto curved parts of L-shaped blanks; assembling L- shaped blanks with outer teeth and welding into links for forming drag; cleaning resultant drag and processing in molybdic acid ammonium vapors for producing corrosion-resistant coat. Drag of such construction is used for surface soil cultivation. EFFECT: reduced wear of drag teeth and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 4 dwg
