METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF TARGET COMPONENT AND MEMBRANE-TYPE MASS-EXCHANGE APPARATUS FOR EXTRACTION OF SUCH COMPONENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: food-processing, chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes extraction of agents from solid product followed by separation of extract components for obtaining target component. Proposed method is realized in one apparatus through semi-permeable revolving membrane washed by flow of extract at pressure exceeding osmotic pressure of separated mixture. Simultaneously diafiltration of part concentrate of target component is performed and it is used for the second time as extractant. Membrane-type mass-exchange apparatus has cylindrical housing with branch pipes for delivery of extractant and removal of separated components. Revolving perforated drum mounted inside cylindrical housing has substrate and semi-permeable membrane on its inner surface. Located coaxially inside housing is fixed perforated cylinder secured coaxially on perforated tube. Outer surface of housing has turns of guide and turbulizing unit.
