FIELD: magnetic filtering of liquids and gases, magnetic treatment of water and aqueous systems; chemical and petrochemical industries; heat-power engineering; agriculture; construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed filter includes chamber for magnetic treatment of liquid or gas formed by cone made from electric conducting material. Mounted in cone vertex is electric conducting rod. Chamber has cover in its upper portion which is made from dielectric material and is provided with baffles for directing the gas or liquid flow into zone of maximum strength of magnetic field through hole. Proposed device is characterized by reduced usage materials, concentrated magnetic field, directional non-uniformity of magnetic field from periphery to cone vertex with no extreme of magnetic field, as well as utilization of heat in rod and cone.
